This inpatient psychiatric facility serves a census of 10 adult patients with complex mental health conditions, including substance use disorders and severe depression. The facility operates with an average length of stay of 6 months and maintains a collaborative care team approach to treatment delivery. Located 30 minutes south of Rutland, Vermont, the facility provides specialized mental health services within a supportive treatment environment.

The psychiatric NP will provide psychiatric care for adult patients with substance use disorders, failure to thrive, and severe depression in a hybrid work environment. The position requires a total of 20 hours per month, with one 8-hour day required on-site monthly and the remaining 12 hours completed remotely. Responsibilities include conducting monthly in-person patient visits for comprehensive medication reviews and treatment plan assessments. The clinician will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
