Overview

Mural Group is partnering with one of the largest heavy industrial manufacturing facilities in the region to hire Industrial Electrical Maintenance Technicians . This is an opportunity to work on large-scale automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced, production-driven environment where your troubleshooting skills have a direct impact on keeping operations running.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems on automated manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose production issues involving proximity sensors, encoders, relays, drives, motors, and electrical controls
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot Siemens PLC-controlled equipment by monitoring inputs, outputs, and identifying field device failures (PLC programming is not required)
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Test motors using multimeters, clamp meters, megohm meters (meggers), and other diagnostic tools
• Troubleshoot 24VDC, 120VAC, and 480VAC electrical systems
• Assist with replacing electrical components including relays, sensors, contactors, and motor controls
• Occasionally assist the mechanical maintenance team with basic maintenance tasks such as bearing replacement and hydraulic valve changes
• Work closely with engineers, operators, and fellow maintenance technicians to safely return equipment to production

What We're Looking For

Required

• Industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience troubleshooting production equipment
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems up to 480V
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Experience using electrical troubleshooting tools including multimeters and megohm meters
• Ability to diagnose electrical faults using a logical troubleshooting process
• Comfortable working rotating 12-hour shifts

Preferred

• Experience troubleshooting Siemens PLC-controlled equipment
• Experience with VFDs and motor controls
• Experience troubleshooting proximity switches, encoders, photoeyes, and other industrial sensors
• Familiarity with 4-20mA instrumentation
• Basic mechanical aptitude

Schedule

• Rotating 12-hour swing shift
