Travel Nurse - Registered Nurse - Pcu - Progressive Care Unit - $2361.6 / Week

Job Summary Tenet‑AZ Region is hiring a registered nurse for a PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Avondale, Arizona. The role is a staff, permanent position with ongoing hours. It involves professional nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines, and providing individualized bedside nursing care based on the nursing process. The RN may supervise other personnel and participates in hour‑rounding and quality improvement activities. Responsibilities Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk, and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing. Determine nursing diagnosis based upon assessment and data analysis. Set practical, realistic, and appropriate patient population specific outcome goals; use patient and family input when appropriate. Individualize the patient’s plan of care based on needs and circumstances. Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure appropriateness to patient’s status. Perform patient assessments and reassessments; provide education to patients, families, and caregivers. Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams. Document clinical records accurately and timely. Support quality improvement and scheduling initiatives. Special Skills Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills. Adaptability to fast‑paced environments. Excellent customer service. Basic computer competency. Minimum Requirements Nursing Degree from an accredited school. Limitations: Level II EQ only requires a minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience including neonatal ventilator. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in Arizona; CPR; ACLS (as applicable); PALS/ENPC in certain units; NRP (post‑partum); bariatrics specialty certification; Wound‑Ostomy Certification.
