Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You’ll play a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting continuous production. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical and electrical equipment to maintain optimal performance Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime and extend asset life Interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals to execute repairs accurately Disassemble equipment to identify root causes of failures and determine necessary repairs Repair or replace defective components, including wiring, motors, and mechanical parts Reassemble, align, adjust, and calibrate equipment to precise operating standards Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including circuits, transformers, motors, switchgear, and controls Troubleshoot and rewire various motor types (AC/DC, variable speed, forward/reverse rotation) Maintain facility systems such as HVAC, air compressors, and other utility equipment Perform basic carpentry and plumbing repairs as needed to support facility operations Fabricate or modify parts, tools, and attachments to meet operational needs Conduct calculations related to tolerances, clearances, wear, and timing Inspect equipment for additional issues and proactively address potential failures Support equipment and process improvements, including design modifications and upgrades Perform maintenance and minor repairs on forklifts and material handling equipment Ensure fire protection systems and safety equipment are fully operational and compliant Conduct routine inspections and complete scheduled maintenance activities Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation Plan and prioritize work independently while meeting deadlines and production needs What We’re Looking For- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems and industrial equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
