Avionics Technician

Avionics TechnicianInstall, modify, troubleshoot, and test aircraft avionics and electrical systems on helicopter final assembly lines. Perform wire bundle installation, cable lay-ins, terminations, crimping, pinning, soldering, and harness work while interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.Key Responsibilities:Install and route wire bundles, harnesses, conductors, and avionics components.Perform terminations, crimping, pinning, soldering, and coax cable assembly.Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical manuals.Troubleshoot and repair avionics and electrical systems.Conduct functional testing and verify system performance.Document work completed and maintain equipment/status records.Use hand tools and specialized avionics test equipment.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of aircraft avionics or electrical assembly experience (military experience accepted).Experience with wiring, harness fabrication, terminations, and soldering.Ability to read aircraft electrical drawings and schematics.Skilled in avionics installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair.Strong documentation and communication skills.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
