American Traveler is hiring a night shift Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer with 4+ years experience and required vascular expertise for a hospital setting in Fort Worth, TX. Requirements Minimum of 4 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist ARDMS-RVT certification or extensive vascular experience required RDMS or ARRT certification required Current BLS certification (AHA only) Inpatient/hospital experience required Active TX license required, if applicable Proficient in patient positioning, equipment adjustment, and sterile technique for invasive procedures Two professional references required Responsibilities Hospital and/or ambulatory imaging setting Performs ultrasound procedures under general supervision of a Radiologist or physician 4x10 hour night shifts, Monday through Thursday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM Cares for newborn, pediatric, young adult, adult and geriatric patient populations May be required to take call Utilizes PACS, EMR, image exchange systems, and modality worklist systems Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures according to established exam protocols in a timely manner Communicate with patients and families regarding procedures and assess ability to tolerate exams Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, including positioning and adjusting exposure factors Adhere to safety, infection-control, and radiation policies, including proper sterile technique and hand hygiene Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness, and report issues to appropriate personnel Maintain accurate documentation including patient history, consent forms, and imaging records May serve as a trainer for new team members or new services Caribbean Blue scrub color required Mandatory flu vaccination with no exemptions, typically required August through November Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Local candidates are not accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts #J-18808-Ljbffr
