Trion Living manages The Magnolia, a 312‑unit apartment community in Charleston, SC. We’re a resident‑first team that pairs a hospitality mindset with disciplined operations. The Magnolia offers a mix of market‑rate and affordable homes, and our on‑site team takes pride in delivering a welcoming, professional leasing experience from the first tour through renewal. The Role We’re hiring a full‑time Leasing Consultant to be the face of The Magnolia. You’ll guide prospective residents through every step of the leasing journey, greeting walk‑ins, conducting tours, following up on leads, and closing the sale while helping current residents feel at home so they renew year after year. This is a sales‑ and service‑driven role for someone who thrives on hitting occupancy and leasing goals. What You’ll Do Greet prospects, conduct professional and engaging community tours, and convert interest into signed leases Respond promptly to phone, email, and online inquiries, and follow up consistently to move leads through the pipeline Qualify applicants, process applications, and prepare accurate lease agreements and renewals Maintain the model unit, tour path, and leasing office to a high standard of presentation Drive resident retention through proactive communication and an exceptional service experience Keep the property management system current with accurate traffic, application, and resident data Support outreach and marketing efforts to keep the leasing funnel full Apply Fair Housing standards consistently and professionally in every interaction What We’re Looking For 1–2 years of multifamily leasing or comparable sales/customer‑service experience Proven ability to connect with people, build rapport quickly, and close Strong organization and follow‑through in a fast‑paced, goal‑driven environment Comfort with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, or similar) and general computer skills Professional written and verbal communication Working knowledge of Fair Housing practices (training provided) Affordable / tax‑credit (LIHTC) leasing experience is a plus, but not required — we’ll train the right person High school diploma or equivalent; reliable transportation Schedule Full‑time, approximately 40 hours per week. This role includes Saturdays (rotating/required weekend coverage) with Sundays off — standard for a leasing community where weekends are our busiest touring days.
