Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Services

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room – Nights Full‑time position. 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week with every other weekend (7P‑7A). In person – Sovah Health – Martinsville. Responsibilities Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs. Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions. Provide care appropriate to the patient's condition and age. Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient. Perform timely and accurate QI assessments. Qualifications Graduate of a professional nursing school. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Virginia State Board of Nursing or a Compact state. Basic Life Support certification required. ACLS and PALS certification required within one year of employment. Previous experience in an acute‑care hospital setting preferred.
