Hourly East Caribbean Dollar (XCD) pay basis Summary The Recreation Hut Attendant is responsible for the daily operation of recreational facilities and activities, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable experience for guests and visitors. This role provides customer service, manages equipment rentals and reservations, maintains facility cleanliness and organization, monitors inventory, and supports water-based and recreational activities. The incumbent must be a strong swimmer and able to perform physically demanding tasks while promoting safety and exceptional guest service. Qualifications Must be a confident swimmer and comfortable working in and around water-based recreational activities. Previous experience in customer service, recreation, hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Ability to safely assist guests with recreational equipment, including kayaks and other watercraft. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, guest-focused approach. Ability to work independently and responsibly while ensuring guest safety. Basic knowledge of water safety, first aid, and CPR is an asset (or willingness to obtain certification). Physically capable of lifting, moving, and maintaining recreational equipment, as well as performing cleaning and maintenance duties. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage reservations, inventory, and equipment tracking. Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and enjoyable recreational environment.
