Location and Job Title: Harp Instructor – Part time / Hourly Kaplen JCC on the Palisades 411 E. Clinton Ave. Tenafly, NJ 07670 Status Part Time; Hourly Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, passionate harp teacher. This position operates as part of the JCC Thurnauer School of Music faculty team and is responsible for teaching private harp lessons and associated duties. Responsibilities Teach private harp lessons to students ranging from beginner to advanced levels. Prepare students for performances. Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student growth and musical development. Participate in school events such as recitals, faculty meetings, and outreach programs. Maintain clear communication with students, families, and administration. Salary Range $50–$60 per hour based on experience. Minimum Qualifications Degree in harp performance or music education (Bachelor's required; Master's preferred). Demonstrated excellence in harp teaching and performance. Availability to teach in-person at the JCC campus in Tenafly. Preferred Qualifications Desire to build a robust harp program.
