Ben's Structural Fabrication Inc., a Maine-based steel and metal fabrication contractor, is seeking a Structural Layout Technician to support fabrication and installation of structural steel and miscellaneous metals. In this role, you will interpret blueprints, prepare accurate shop and field layouts, and mark steel for cutting, drilling, and assembly. You’ll work closely with welders and fitters, verify field measurements, and ensure components meet dimensional and quality standards. This hands-on position is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who enjoy building tangible projects, learning by doing, and working safely in a tight-knit, craftsmanship-focused team.
