Certified Pharmacy Technician

Position Summary The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for a variety of tasks for the receipt, preparation, and dispensing of prescriptions from the LCHC on-site Pharmacy, including the documentation of their work in the pharmacy computer system, treating patients in a timely and professional manner, and keeping their work areas properly stocked, cleaned, and in compliance with applicable regulations. Required Knowledge, Education, Experience or Licensure/Registration

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Pharmacy Tech experience a plus.
• Illinois pharmacy tech license
• Accredited Pharmacy Technician education/ training program, such as those accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)/the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) or other board approved education and training program

• Bilingual ability as needed.
