Civil 3D Designer

Civil 3D DesignerWe are currently seeking a Civil 3D Designer to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be involved in providing engineering services across various sectors including energy, mining, industrial, municipal, private, and state clients. This role focuses on utility infrastructure, storm water management, roadway design, and civil/site development.ResponsibilitiesManage projects effectively and efficiently.Perform civil/site design tasks including grading, erosion, and sediment control.Conduct storm water management engineering.Engage in land development and planning.Utilize software such as Microsoft Office, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D.Communicate effectively with team members and clients.Travel occasionally for inter- and intrastate projects.Essential Skills8 to 12 years of experience in civil/site design.Strong background in project management and permitting.Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Excellent communication and writing skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in Civil Design.2+ years of experience in Civil Site Design.Experience in commercial, industrial, and utility projects is preferred.Work EnvironmentThe position is based in our Raleigh office, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment. The role may require occasional travel.Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
