Logistician PositionThe Logistician is responsible for coordinating, tracking, and documenting the lifecycle of government-furnished property, supplies, and technical equipment across program sites. The role supports acquisition planning, shipping/receiving, inventory control, and configuration tracking in accordance with DoD supply chain policies and federal accountability standards.As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these include, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), staying focused on the assigned tasks, and completing other tasks as assigned.ResponsibilitiesTrack receipt, transfer, and disposal of property and material assetsMaintain inventory databases and reconcile discrepanciesPrepare shipping documents and coordinate movement of assetsSupport audits and inspections of warehouse and material recordsEnsure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and DoD logistics requirementsSupport packaging, labeling, and configuration tracking activitiesAssist with acquisition documentation and vendor coordinationBasic QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent2+ years' experience in logistics, inventory, or supply chain managementProficiency with Microsoft Excel and logistics tracking softwareAbility to lift and move moderate loads (up to 50 lbs)Candidate must be able to work onsiteDoD Secret security clearanceU.S. CitizenshipIf applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offeredPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with DPAS, IUID, or other government asset systemsExperience with government property accountability and audit prepCompany SummaryJoin the VSolvit Team!
