Our client is hiring for a CDL Class C Driver

Location: Ocean Township-Monmouth County, New Jersey

Position Overview

Seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class C Driver to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to safe and timely deliveries and transportation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
• Transport goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations throughout Monmouth County and surrounding areas
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
• Load and unload cargo as needed while ensuring proper handling and secure transport
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and required documentation
• Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines efficiently
• Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members
• Adhere to all DOT safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class C license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
• Dependable, punctual, and organized
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time opportunities available- 40 hour per week
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Overtime opportunities may be available
• Benefits package available during temp period and when hire direct.
• Familiarity with Monmouth County and surrounding New Jersey routes
• Experience using GPS navigation and electronic logging systems
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Pay Rate: $23-25/hr
