Overview
Radiology Technologist – Special Procedures (Cardiac Cath Tech) in a hospital setting, located in Cumming, Georgia, United States. This travel assignment starts on 07/06/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Responsibilities
- Perform and assist in Cardiac Catheterization procedures using fluoroscopy and radiographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
- Maintain sterile technique, prep and drape the sterile field, and assist the interventional cardiology team during procedures.
- Position patients, manage equipment settings, and optimize image quality while adhering to ALARA radiation safety principles.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; respond to patient needs and communicate effectively with physicians and staff.
- Document all procedures, equipment usage, and imaging results; ensure accurate labeling and storage of images in the patient record.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and department policies; assist with equipment readiness, turnover, and routine maintenance.

Requirements
- RCIS certification required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Tech or related Special Procedures role
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and participate in a travel assignment
- Proficiency with cardiac imaging systems, sterile technique, and radiation safety practices
