Hiring BCBA - Anne Arundel, MD

$2800 weekly (W2)

Service Model:

• This is not a traditional direct-service BCBA role focused on individual students.

• The emphasis is on supporting teams of adults and improving systems, environments, and practices that influence student outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Analyzing a very large amount of school-wide data, including:

• Academics

• Behavioral

• Attendance

• Discipline referrals/corrective actions

• Enrollment trends

• Suspensions and other outcome measures

1. Identifying populations, schools, grade levels, etc. demonstrating disproportionate outcomes or areas of concern (e.g., attendance, corrective/disciplinary actions).

2. Figuring out the root cause of this disproportionate evidence

3. Collaborating with school teams to develop and implement action plans to address the concern.

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES provides consultation, training, conducts behavioral evaluations and develops/implements behavior intervention plans for individuals with academic and behavioral deficits. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst – ES acts as a clinical teacher who educates, observes, assesses, and supervises educational activities and behavioral service delivery in the school setting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

• Master’s degree in applied behavior analysis, teaching, psychology or related field

• Preferred experience providing behavior analytic programs and services in schools

• One (1) year minimum pediatric experience preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
