CNC Machinist
Location: Cincinnati - St Bernard
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3 PM
Pay Range: $22-30/hr. Based on experience
Position Overview:
Our client, a modern, clean, and family-owned manufacturing company with a world-renowned product line, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a dependable machinist looking for long-term career growth in a stable manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and program CNC lathes and machining centers
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Verify part dimensions using precision measuring instruments
- Work from CNC programs, operation sheets, routers, travelers, and process instructions
- Machine a variety of materials including metals and plastics
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of machinist experience
- CNC setup, operation, and programming experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection methods
- Experience with HAAS and/or MAZAK machines is a plus
- Experience with G & M codes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Own tools are a plus
