Position Overview


We are seeking experienced MedSurg Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality care to adult and post-operative patients in an acute care setting. This role involves working with diverse patient populations, including those requiring medical management, wound care, and recovery support.

Pay Rates

• Full-Time: $40 - $45/hour
• Per-Diem: $45 - $50/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide care for post-operative and medically complex patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Additional Expectations

• Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, and accountability in clinical practice
• Delegate tasks appropriately to LPNs and support staff
• Promote patient safety and quality care initiatives
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach
• Adapt to varying patient needs and unit assignments as required

Requirements

• Active RN license (state-specific or compact license preferred)
• BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1-2 years of MedSurg or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
