JOB SUMMARY The Finisher performs finishing techniques such as buffing, polishing, grinding, deburring, and etching on machine products. This role ensures proper size, finish, and quality by following drawings and specifications. The technician conducts routine visual inspections and uses basic measuring equipment to verify product accuracy. Key Responsibilities Perform finishing techniques including buffing, polishing, grinding, deburring, and etching. Achieve proper size and finish according to drawings and quality specifications. Conduct routine visual inspections of machine products. Use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, scales, and indicators. Maintain accurate records of work performed. Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies. Assist with general production support as needed. Required Qualifications Ability to read and use measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, scales, indicators). Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform extended periods of sitting or standing. Primary lifting involves tote boxes filled with parts (less than 5 lbs.). Strong attention to detail and adherence to attendance policy. Willingness to work Saturdays as scheduled. Preferred Qualifications Past experience in medical device manufacturing (manager willing to train if no prior experience). Education High school diploma or GED equivalent. Education: High School
