Requirements

• Licensed dental hygienist

Current and valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Indiana.
Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Proficiency in performing dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal assessments.
Ability to take and interpret various dental radiographs (bitewing, periapical, panoramic).
Knowledge and application of fluoride treatments and dental sealants.
Excellent communication and patient education skills.
A positive attitude and ability to thrive in a busy, team-oriented environment.

Job Description

Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and periodontal maintenance.
Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and oral cancer screenings.
Take various dental radiographs, including bitewing, periapical, and panoramic X-rays.
Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options.
Monitor and document patient oral health status and treatment plans accurately.
Collaborate effectively with dentists and other team members to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal care.
Maintain a sterile and organized operatory according to infection control standards.
Utilize advanced dental technology to enhance patient care and efficiency.

Shift & Schedule

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM
