DME DELIVERY & WAREHOUSE TECHS

Job Description

Full and part-time opportunities are available for DME Delivery Technicians to clean, maintain, deliver, set up, and retrieve medical equipment for hospice patients. This role supports patients, caregivers, and hospice teams by handling all major durable medical equipment categories, providing equipment instruction, and participating in a scheduled on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain medical equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
Deliver and retrieve durable medical equipment for hospice patients.
Set up equipment in patient homes and provide patient and caregiver instruction.
Coordinate equipment needs with patients, caregivers, and hospice teams.
Handle all major durable medical equipment categories safely and efficiently.
Complete required delivery, retrieval, and equipment documentation.
Follow safe lifting, transportation, and equipment-handling practices.
Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation for after-hours or emergency deliveries.

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of experience in durable medical equipment delivery and warehouse operations.
Knowledge of durable medical equipment handling and cleaning.
Ability to provide clear patient and caregiver equipment instruction.
Understanding of safe lifting techniques.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to complete accurate documentation.
