General Production Worker

The General Production Worker operates a die-cutting machine on a continuous basis to produce labels while supporting packaging and assembly activities on the production floor. This role is physically demanding and involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs, as well as performing additional general labor tasks as needed. New hires complete a comprehensive two-month training program to build the skills required to operate the equipment safely and independently. After successfully completing training, employees are expected to run machines autonomously and may have the opportunity to progress into a Press Operator role.

• Operate a die-cutting machine on a continuous basis to produce labels according to production specifications.
• Prepare packaging materials and assemble boxes for finished label rolls while the machine is running.
• Monitor machine performance, ensuring consistent output quality and addressing basic issues as they arise.
• Perform frequent lifting and handling of materials up to 50 lbs in a safe and controlled manner.
• Multitask effectively by managing machine operation and packaging activities simultaneously.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including performing tasks such as cleaning and taking out trash.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working with machinery and materials.
• Support general production and fast-paced assembly tasks as required to meet production goals.
• Complete and apply knowledge from the two-month training program to operate equipment independently.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues that may affect production or quality.

• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the role, including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand and support basic machine operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced assembly and production environment.
• Capability to multitask effectively while the machine is running.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate label production and packaging.
• Willingness to perform additional general labor tasks such as cleaning and taking out trash.

• Interest in learning advanced machine operation through a structured training program.
• Motivation to grow into a Press Operator role after demonstrating proficiency.
• Reliability and consistency in following safety and production procedures.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with production team members.

This role is based in a manufacturing production environment on a 1st shift schedule, typically from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The work involves operating machinery and performing physical tasks in a fast-paced setting. Employees handle materials frequently and lift up to 50 lbs as part of their daily duties. Headphones are permitted on the production floor, offering some flexibility in how employees manage their workday. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork while supporting continuous machine operation and packaging activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nashua, NH.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
