Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (1099 Contractor) Balanced Wellness | Tulsa, Oklahoma Help women thrive—not just treat disease. We are seeking an exceptional Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice as a part-time independent contractor (1099) . This position is ideal for a provider who is passionate about women's health, perimenopause, menopause, preventive medicine, and whole-person wellness and wants to practice in an environment that values quality of care over volume. What You’ll Do Provide evidence-based primary care with an emphasis on prevention and wellness Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions Manage hormone optimization, perimenopause, and menopause care Educate and empower patients through lifestyle medicine, nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress management Develop individualized treatment plans that integrate conventional and evidence-based complementary therapies when appropriate Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who genuinely lives the lifestyle they encourage patients to pursue. Qualifications Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or WHNP) Active Oklahoma APRN license (or ability to obtain) DEA registration Experience in primary care required Strong interest in integrative medicine and preventive healthcare Passion for women's health throughout the lifespan Experience caring for women in perimenopause and menopause preferred Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) certification preferred, or actively working toward certification Excellent communication and patient education skills Self-motivated, collaborative, and committed to lifelong learning Our Culture Balanced Wellness is more than a medical practice—we are a community committed to helping people live healthier, fuller lives.
