Manufacturing Accountant

Support the accounting function through general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, month-end close activities and financial reporting. Maintain Fixed asset transaction reporting and reconciliations. Review work order costs prior to closing. Understand transactional activity relating to raw materials, inventory, labor, WIP. Reconcile general ledger accounts and provide audit support. Verify and post General Ledger journal entries. Assist in preparation of month end reporting and expense analysis. Learn and utilize the Mas500 accounting system. Job Requirements 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3–5 years of accounting experience. Manufacturing accounting experience is preferred but not required. Candidate should possess a strong understanding of general accounting principles, general ledger accounting and account reconciliations, with the ability and willingness to learn manufacturing accounting concepts including inventory, WIP and work-order costing. 2. To be trained and acquire full knowledge of the Mas500 accounting system to accomplish objectives. 3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 4.
