Position Summary Under the supervision of a licensed physician, the CRNA delivers anesthesia consistent with the policies, procedures and regulations of the acute care practice setting during the perioperative period. Job Duties & Responsibilities Maintain current license, certifications and/or competencies as required. Ensure that patient and/or associate information is protected from unauthorized disclosure. Demonstrate knowledge of patients rights and responsibilities. Demonstrate and utilize hospital wide and unit specific policies and procedures. Adhere to all department and Medical Center safety policies and procedures following Just Culture Principles. Recognize individual responsibilities, reporting procedures, and chain of escalation during a safety event, as outlined in the Just Culture Policy. Qualifications Graduate of a nurse anesthesia education program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor. Prefer 3-5 years of clinical experience. Current South Carolina RN license. Current official recognition as a CRNA in the state of South Carolina.
