Physical Therapist - Hartsville, SC

Deliver transformative patient care by supporting individuals of all ages in restoring mobility, minimizing pain, and promoting active lifestyles in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for physical therapists dedicated to evidence-based practice, educational patient support, and interprofessional collaboration.


Schedule:

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Friday, 8:00 AM-12:30 PM
• Occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations (every 5 weeks)

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina Physical Therapist license (attach proof with application)
• Minimum of 2 years recent physical therapy experience (hospital experience strongly preferred)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (documentation required)
• Outpatient care background preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patient needs and conduct physician-prescribed physical therapy programs in an outpatient setting
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans to improve movement, manage pain, and restore functional abilities
• Provide education to patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and wellness strategies
• Collaborate with other healthcare personnel to optimize patient outcomes
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides in the execution of therapeutic interventions
• Occasionally cover acute care evaluations as required
