Details Medical ICU unit within an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule of 36 or 48 hours per week (6:30 PM-7:00 AM) Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active CA RN license required Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required Current PALS certification (AHA or ARC) required Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required BSN preferred Acute care facility experience preferred No prior adverse licensure actions permitted Candidates must have no more than 5 days of requested RTO Additional Information Deliver coordinated nursing care to an assigned patient or group of patients following established standards and the nursing process Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care plans Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to provide safe and compassionate care Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and team members Local candidates accepted with no radius rule; local rates match travel rates Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered American Traveler Job ID P-748638.
