Therapist - Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide restorative and supportive physical therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. Deliver patient-centered care to promote mobility, function, and recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities as prescribed.
• Monitor patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and patient responses.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• Possess proven experience working as a PTA in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities.
• Possess excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Maintain current CPR certification.
