Maintenance Lead

Axis Pipe & Tube

Responsibilities:
• Plans and coordinates all Mill/HTL-TTL maintenance activities.
• Responsible for follow up on maintenance planning activities
• Responsible for training of maintenance personnel in safety and plant conduct, job performance, quality control,

environmental matters.
• Responsible for maintenance of plant equipment.
• Assist in follow up on Preventive Maintenance Program
• Evaluate effectiveness of equipment traceability into Maintenance Program
• Analyze tracking program of performance of equipment
• Execute Maintenance Planning plans
• Responsible for completing any assignments given by Supervisor, even those assignments not specifically listed in

this job description.
• 3 years' experience in a Maintenance Area with progressive growth into Management
• Working knowledge of personnel policies and laws pertaining to workers' compensation, insurance, OSHA

(Occupational Safety and Health Act) requirements, environmental laws and practices and industrial relations.
• Familiarity with industrial procurement policies and practices.
• Technical expertise in maintenance of production equipment associated with DSAW pipe manufacture.
• Computer literate and ability to communicate orally and verbally at prominent levels.
• Working knowledge of applicable technical specifications such as API, ASTM, ISO, ASME, etc.
• Position will require planning, organizing, reporting and trouble shooting skills
• Position will be responsible for reporting into SAP program
• Experience in Pipe Manufacturing and Electronics is a plus
• PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) Programming and Auto CAD are not necessary but a plus
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to follow job and safety requirements.

Physical Requirements:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; walk; use hands to fingers, hands to feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear.
• The employee frequently is required to climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
