Are you passionate about cooking and looking to bring your skills to a dynamic environment? Las Vegas Petroleum is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Line Cook or Buffet Cook to join our kitchen team! Here, you'll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary talents while working alongside a talented group of chefs in a fast-paced setting.
As a Line Cook, you'll prepare delicious meals, maintain food quality and safety standards, and contribute to a fun, team-oriented atmosphere. We're all about great food and great people, and we can't wait to welcome you to our family!
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to our delicious recipes and high-quality standards.
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring we meet all hygiene and safety practices.
- Collaborate with your team to guarantee timely and efficient meal service.
- Assist in managing food inventory and supplies to ensure a well-stocked kitchen.
- Engage with our team, bringing positivity and a willingness to learn or share culinary techniques.
- Be open to adding your personal touch to menu items and contributing to our cuisine's evolution!
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar kitchen role is a plus, but we also welcome passionate beginners!
- A love for cooking and a great attitude toward teamwork.
- Basic knowledge of cooking methods and food safety guidelines.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, bustling kitchen environment.
- Good communication skills and a keen willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
