Warehouse Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Logistics and Storage teams. The ideal candidate will have physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Location: Birmingham, AL

Pay Range: $16.81 per hour

Shift: Other 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and load boxes ranging from 10 to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Read labels, track orders, and use proprietary computer systems to manage inventory.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during all physical tasks, including climbing ladders and working on uneven surfaces.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and moving heavy boxes.
• Good reading and writing skills in English.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal assistance.
• Proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
• Previous experience in warehouse or similar physical roles is a plus but not required.
