Cyber Security Engineer

Leading cybersecurity assurance activities throughout the product life cycle, the full-time Principal Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer will manage risk assessments, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and act as a cybersecurity champion within product development teams while working remotely from the United States. Key responsibilities Lead cybersecurity assurance activities, including risk management plans, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessments Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and elevate major issues affecting patient safety and cybersecurity Supervise and mentor other cybersecurity assurance engineers while supporting continuous process improvement and audits Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher and eight years of cybersecurity and/or cybersecurity risk management experience supporting medical devices Experience with embedded systems, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and related technologies Ten years of cybersecurity experience in medical devices is preferred Knowledge of medical device regulations and standards, such as FDA requirements and ISO standards Experience in threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for embedded systems
