Position Purpose All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country. Key Responsibilities Conduct a Physical Therapy evaluation or screen. Develop an individualized Plan of Care with functional goals. Provide appropriate therapeutic interventions. Evaluate patient response to treatment and modify plan as necessary. Document the course of patient care including progress made and the continuing need for treatment. Provide patient and/or family education to help achieve goals. Communicate and demonstrate a professional image for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others. Adhere to policies, rules, and regulations from KHI, the Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare. Assist with orientation of new staff as requested. Meet KHI requirements for skills competency and safety. Participate in continuing education and professional development activities. Assist with the Physical Therapy and Physical Therapy Assistant student program. Participate in staff meetings, client relations and marketing activities. Ensure documentation is complete and accurate, meeting all KHI, Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy, and Medicare regulatory requirements. Complete billing by the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reasonable and necessary requirements. Meet individual productivity standards for the department. Achieve patient satisfaction that meets or exceeds department standards. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an APTA‑approved four‑year bachelor’s degree program, or foreign equivalent. Licensure: Current PT License through the Arizona Board of Physical Therapy. Certification: BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
