Riviera Surgical Center in Bullhead City, AZ is looking for one receptionist to join our 12 person strong team. We are located on 3003 Az 95 #63.

Riviera Surgical Center is a leading healthcare facility located in Bullhead, Arizona, dedicated to providing exceptional surgical care to our patients. We are currently seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk/Receptionist. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk while delivering excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities:

1. Welcome and Greet: Warmly welcome patients, visitors, and staff as they arrive at the surgical center.
2. Check-In and Check-Out: Efficiently handle patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying necessary documentation and insurance information.
3. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, surgeries, and consultations accurately using the electronic scheduling system.
4. Answer Inquiries: Respond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally, providing information or directing queries to the appropriate personnel.
5. Patient Registration: Collect and enter patient information accurately into the electronic health records (EHR) system.
6. Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement processes.
7. Coordinate with Medical Staff: Communicate effectively with medical staff, nurses, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care and scheduling.
8. Maintain Reception Area: Keep the reception area organized, tidy, and welcoming at all times.
9. Administrative Support: Provide administrative support such as filing documents, handling mail, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
10. Adhere to Policies: Follow established protocols, procedures, and privacy regulations (HIPAA) to maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
2. Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
3. Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance processes, and electronic health records (EHR) systems (experience with systems like EPIC, Cerner, or Meditech is a plus).
4. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a professional and friendly demeanor.
5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
7. Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, email, internet).
