Physical Therapist (PT) South Carolina School-Based

Princeton Staffing Solutions is hiring a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide therapy services to students in a school-based special education setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with pediatric or school-aged populations and be passionate about helping students improve functional mobility and gross motor skills within educational environments.

Key responsibilities include assessing and evaluating students' gross motor and physical development related to accessing the educational curriculum, developing and implementing individualized physical therapy plans to address each student's unique needs, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to goal development, utilizing adaptive equipment and assistive technologies to support students with physical and cognitive disabilities, collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and parents to promote carryover of therapy goals across settings, monitoring student progress, maintaining documentation, and adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and ensuring compliance with school district guidelines and state practice regulations.

Required qualifications include a Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited PT program, valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT), educational/teacher certification if required by the state Department of Education, and school-based or pediatric clinical experience strongly preferred.
