Eligibility Coordinator The Eligibility Coordinator plays a key role in supporting individuals and families by determining eligibility for community assistance programs and financial aid services. This on-site position in Fort Wayne, IN is responsible for processing utility assistance applications, conducting client intake, and ensuring accurate and timely application review. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working with data across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities Review and process utility assistance applications submitted by mail and walk-in clients. Accurately enter applicant information into both state and internal databases using dual-monitor systems. Verify and document personal, household, income, and utility information to determine program eligibility. Complete and maintain electronic client records and required internal documentation. Contact applicants by phone to obtain missing information or clarify application details. Prepare and send eligibility determinations and final notifications to clients. Collaborate with internal departments and community programs to ensure client needs are met effectively. Participate in staff meetings and contribute feedback and process improvement ideas.
