Agency Partnerships Director

Agency Development Director | Digital Advertising | NYC (Hybrid) | Up to $260K + 30% Bonus

We're working with a well-established, high-growth advertising technology company on a newly created, highly strategic hire.

This company operates at significant scale, partnering with many of the largest premium publishers in the US. They're now investing in a rebuilt Agency Development function, led by a newly appointed executive from a major digital media brand, and this is one of the first hires into that new structure.

The Role

As Agency Development Director, you'll own North American agency strategy for a portfolio of either major Hold Co or leading Independent agency relationships. This is an executive relationship and strategy role, not account-level sales, focused on building influence from the C-suite through programmatic leadership and converting that into measurable revenue.

What You'll Do

• Own and grow relationships across an assigned agency holding company or major indie portfolio, trading desks, and key subsidiaries
• Engage at executive level: trading desk leadership, programmatic heads, and key decision-makers
• Drive agency enablement through trainings, workshops, and strategic roadshows
• Partner on cobranded marketing, thought leadership, and tentpole activations
• Lead commercial agreements (JBPs, MSAs, trading agreements) from concept to signature
• Represent the business at industry events, reshaping market perception

What You'll Need

• 12+ years in digital advertising at a top-tier technology or media company, with a strong focus on holding company agency development
• Established executive relationships (C-suite, EVP, SVP) across major US agency holding companies or independents
• Deep knowledge of the agency ecosystem: how holding companies, trading desks, and agency brands plan and buy media
• A track record of driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships rather than direct selling
• Comfort with frequent travel (2+ domestic trips per month)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary up to $260K, plus 30% bonus
• Hybrid: 3 days in-office in NYC
