Calypso Developer

Calypso Developer We are looking for an experienced Calypso Developer with strong expertise in the Calypso platform, Java development, and Capital Markets. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Calypso implementation, customization, upgrades, and integrations across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office functions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, customize, and support Calypso solutions. Develop Calypso APIs, custom workflows, scheduled tasks, and reports. Participate in Calypso implementation, migration, and upgrade projects. Integrate Calypso with external systems such as Bloomberg, Reuters, SWIFT, and messaging platforms (MQ/Kafka/JMS). Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL. Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance. Collaborate with business analysts, traders, operations teams, and QA. Prepare technical documentation and mentor junior developers. Follow SDLC best practices, code reviews, and CI/CD processes. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in Calypso Development. Strong understanding of Calypso Architecture. Hands-on experience with at least one Calypso implementation and upgrade project. Strong Java (Java 8/11/17), Spring Boot, and SQL development skills. Experience with Calypso APIs, customizations, and workflows. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux environments. Experience with messaging technologies such as MQ, Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ. Experience integrating Calypso with Bloomberg, Reuters, or SWIFT. Good understanding of the complete trade lifecycle (Front-to-Back Office). Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, Money Markets, or Equities. Experience with Oracle databases. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Kibana, Splunk).
