Job Type (Per Diem/Travel Contract): Travel/Contract

Hourly Pay Rate: $82.76

Shift: 40 hours, 4x10 - 7:00am-5:30pm

On Call: some weekends

Duration: 13-week contract

Experience Required: 2 years of experience

License Required: TX

Certifications Required: ACLS/BLS

First-timers accepted: N/A

Skills Required:

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Assist with stress echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and contrast studies as needed.
• Acquire and optimize diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images for interpretation by cardiologists.
• Evaluate image quality and obtain additional views when clinically indicated.
• Prepare patients by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout the examination.
• Operate, maintain, and perform quality control on echocardiography equipment.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

• RDCS or RCS
• BLS (AHA only)
• EPIC preferred
• 2 years of experience
• MULTISPECIALTY - Must have general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, Breast, Transvaginal, vascular, echocardiogram, adult echo, contrast echo, Echo stress treadmill experience
