Location: Clarksville, TN

Position Summary

The External Reporting Specialist will support the preparation, coordination, and submission of financial, project, and compliance reports for a large-scale capital project. This position will work closely with internal Compliance, Finance, Contract Management, and project teams, as well as U.S. federal agencies, lenders, and joint venture partners.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with financial and regulatory information. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in external reporting, grant management, project finance, or compliance who is looking to grow within a complex project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of the master external reporting schedule for federal agencies, lenders, and JV partners.
• Coordinate the collection and organization of information required for external reports and submissions.
• Review reporting packages for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable requirements.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of progress reports, financial reports, drawdown requests, and supporting documentation.
• Support the interpretation and consolidation of financial and project data for external reporting.
• Assist with the drawdown process in accordance with grant agreements and loan covenant requirements.
• Track lender and agency feedback and coordinate follow-up with appropriate internal teams.
• Support communications with U.S. federal agencies, lenders, and JV partners regarding reporting and compliance matters.
• Identify potential reporting gaps, compliance concerns, or other issues and escalate them to appropriate leadership.
• Assist with preparation for audits, monitoring reviews, meetings, and site visits involving government agencies or lenders.
• Monitor applicable regulatory and policy updates that may affect reporting and compliance requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200 and CHIPS Act implementation requirements .

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Experience in external reporting, grant management, project finance, compliance, or a related field involving U.S. federal funding programs.
• Familiarity with federal grant regulations, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) .
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate financial, regulatory, and project-related information.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, reporting requirements, and deadlines.
• Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the CHIPS Act, DOE loan programs, or other federal infrastructure funding programs .
• Exposure to EPC or large-scale capital project environments.
• Experience working with U.S. Government agencies, lenders, or other external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with financial reporting, grant administration, or project controls.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
