Senior Thermal Engineer - REMOTEI'm partnering with a rapidly growing space organization developing and operating a cutting-edge space-based communications constellation, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Thermal Engineer to join the team.This is a particularly interesting opportunity for a thermal engineer who wants to go beyond traditional design and analysis and work directly with spacecraft operating on orbitYou'll play a key role in ensuring the thermal health and performance of spacecraft throughout their operational life, working closely with Flight Operations, Software, Systems and Thermal Engineering teamsWhat you'll be working on:Leading thermal support for on-orbit spacecraft operationsMonitoring and analysing spacecraft thermal telemetryDefining thermal FDIR limits and automated responsesTroubleshooting and resolving on-orbit thermal anomaliesSupporting spacecraft CONOPS across different mission phasesPerforming thermal modelling and analysis using tools such as Thermal DesktopSupporting spacecraft and subsystem-level thermal testingImproving thermal monitoring, operational processes and flight strategiesWorking directly across Thermal, Flight Operations and Software teamsWhat we're looking for:5+ years of spacecraft thermal engineering experienceStrong thermal modelling and analysis backgroundExperience with Thermal Desktop or similar toolsUnderstanding of spacecraft thermal hardware, testing and operationsAbility to independently investigate and solve complex thermal problemsExposure to Python, MATLAB or similar would be beneficialExperience supporting flight hardware or on-orbit spacecraft is highly desirableThis is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work much closer to the operational side of spacecraft engineering, supporting real flight systems and solving problems that directly impact missions in orbit.J-18808-Ljbffr
