Ultrasound Technologist

This role involves performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support patient evaluation and treatment. The technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, select appropriate technical settings, and maintain sterile techniques. Primary duties Primary duties include assisting physicians with procedures such as biopsies and amniocentesis, generating quality images, and accurately documenting clinical information. Qualifications Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of diagnostic or ultrasound experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound program. Certification in Diagnostic Sonography by ARDMS is preferred within one year, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Key skills Key skills involve technical proficiency in ultrasound imaging, effective communication, attention to detail, and ability to assist in invasive procedures.
