Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM on IBM mainframe systems
- Perform end-to-end development in COBOL on z/OS
- Utilize AI Copilot tools to assist with COBOL code documentation and modernization efforts
- Support and enhance existing mainframe applications while ensuring system stability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project and operational requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with IBM mainframe application development
- COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM
- Experience working with DB2, including associated daemon processes
- Exposure to or experience with the Unisys platform
- Familiarity with using AI-powered tools (Copilot) in a mainframe development context
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Mainframe development using AI Copilot
- COBOL-based application enhancement and documentation
