Senior Water Project Manager - Wastewater

Overview Senior Water Project Manager - Wastewater at GHD. Central US/Texas focus. Lead complex wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through construction. Manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain client relationships, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Lead or assist in the development of facility and/or utility master plans Lead the planning, design, and execution of wastewater treatment and conveyance projects Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality assurance Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and internal teams Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and engineering documents Oversee permitting processes and ensure environmental and safety compliance Contribute to QA/QC programs and ensure work meets professional and firm standards Perform schedule reviews on construction projects and maintain schedules for design and construction Mentor junior engineers and project staff Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed Lead proposal development efforts for new business Grow relationships with existing and prospective clients, including business development, sales and marketing Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations What you will bring to the team Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering Professional Engineer license in Texas or ability to acquire within six months of hire 10+ years of water/wastewater design experience in municipal water, wastewater, water resources, and/or conveyance projects in the Central US region; preference for Texas market Significant experience in desalination plants, water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and pump stations Experience coordinating and managing multiple tasks with attention to detail, schedule, and budget Ability to present technical information clearly in writing and orally; strong technical writing skills Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory/permitting agencies including TCEQ and EPA Job details Seniority level : Associate Employment type : Full-time Job function : Design, Consulting, and Engineering Industries : Civil Engineering, Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, and Environmental Services As a multicultural organization, we encourage individual achievement and recognize the strength of a diverse workforce.
