Setting: Hospital Level I Trauma Center

Responsibilities:

• Provide anesthesia services for cardiac surgical procedures
• Deliver perioperative care across a broad range of surgical and procedural areas
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in night beeper call coverage

Required Procedures:

• Cardiac Anesthesia Cases
• Perioperative Management of Complex Surgical Patients

EMR System: Epic

Hospital Size: 593 Beds

Patient Volume: Varies Based on Assigned Anesthetizing Location

Days Per Month: Full-Time Preferred (4-5 Shifts Per Week)
Will Consider Providers Available One Week Per Month

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday
• Shift Times Vary:
  • 6:15 AM - 4:45 PM
  • 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

On-Call/Weekends:

• Night Beeper Call Required
• Typically 1-2 Nights Per Week

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist
• Cardiac Anesthesiology Experience Required
• Active Pennsylvania License or IMLC LOQ Required
• ACLS Certification Required
• PALS Certification Required
• Minimum 2 Years of Experience Preferred
