Part-Time Driver And Food Distributor

The Mobile Food Center (MFC) is seeking a part-time driver and food distributor to serve the Philadelphia community. This position is part-time for approximately 20 hours per month. The MFC provides fresh food and produce weekly throughout the Cobbs Creek & Kingsessing communities. It operates every Thursday and additionally the 1st Tuesday of every month. The ideal candidate has delivery experience as well as a comfortability interacting with community members.

A Brief Overview

Responsible for the pickup and delivery of mail and valuable documents to and from the Practice Groups, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, affiliated departments and other designated locations. When necessary may deliver bank deposits and other duties as necessary.

What You Will Do

• Daily pickup and distribution of mail among and between divisions (90%)
• Pick up and drop off bank deposits
• Perform mail run to the Practice Groups, CHOP Main, Fiscal Services Offices and other designated locations.
• Handle special deliveries
• Make other off-site pickups and deliveries as requested
• Other duties as assigned (10%)

Education Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED - Required

• Use telephone, photocopier, etc.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle or be insured on a CHOP Policy.

Licenses and Certifications

• Driver's License - Department of Motor Vehicles - upon hire - Required

$17.40 - $21.75 Hourly
