Join our team at Learning Opportunities Quality Works! We are currently seeking applicants for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) position. This is a part-time position with approximately 20-30 hours per week .

Essential Functions:

As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with IDD as they work toward greater independence and meaningful engagement in their communities. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing job coaching and support to individuals with disabilities as they develop job-related skills.
• Supporting individuals in a variety of work settings.
• Plan and lead structured daily activities such as community involvement, volunteer opportunities, physical activities, life skills, and advocacy.
• Promoting independence and skill-building in a respectful, encouraging, and empowering manner.
• Advocating for each individual’s rights, choices, and overall well-being.

• High School Diploma or GED required with work experience, prefer 4 year degree from accredited college.
• Must have a current valid driver's license and be willing to obtain a Class E (Chauffeur's) license immediately upon hire.
• Requires a dependable personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage.
• Ability to pass all appropriate and required background screenings.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of our customers.

• Ability to use technology to complete required documentation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as a team.
