Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Per Diem Physical Therapy Aide in Princeton, NJ. This is a great opportunity for those looking to pursue a future career in physical therapy! Qualifications Required: High School diploma or GED. BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred Basic knowledge of anatomy and muscle movement terminology. Scheduling Requirements Per Diem Monday – Friday availability (morning, afternoon, and evening shifts available between 6:45AM to 9:30PM). Opportunities for picking up extra hours as available at any RWJ Somerset Sports Physical Therapy clinic locations Essential Functions Assisting physical therapists with patient care such as assisting with patient transfers onto and off of treatment tables and equipment. Maintaining treatment area and setting up equipment. Retrieving equipment such as hot packs, cold packs, and electrical equipment. General housekeeping and infection prevention. Assisting in clerical needs of department such as answering phones and taking messages.
