PRN Registered Nurse – Various ShiftsResponsibilities Cypress Creek Hospital is a free-standing 128-bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in north Houston, TX, and minutes south of The Woodlands. Cypress Creek Hospital features individual units for adolescents and adults and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. We are comprised of a tenured dedicated team of Psychiatrists, Nurses, Social Workers, Mental Health Technicians and Support Staff where delivering compassionate care is our mission.Position Summary The RN is responsible for implementing and evaluating patient care on the Adult/Adolescent/Geriatric units; for providing supervision and guidance for nursing staff members; for assuming responsibilities delegated by the Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, or House Supervisor; for personal and professional growth and development. Licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas (or licensed in a compact state). One-year psychiatric nursing experience preferred. CPR and hospital de-escalation certifications which can be obtained during orientation. Must be able to complete new hire requirements such as a nationwide background check and pre-employment drug screen.
